Grand Master Habib Fayiz is a 7th degree black belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do, under Chang Moo Kwan Federation. Many of us he was inspired by the great Bruce Lee in his young age and has not stopped since. He’s pursued his love for martial arts, in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do particularly, for over 38 years. With over 25 years of mentoring he has honed his skill and love of teaching martial arts to both kids and adults!

I was brought up in a humble and hardworking family and we were fortunate enough to make it to America. I believe every single child and adult has the full potential to be great in this life, a life of success, good morals and good character. That is the way I strive to live my life and martial arts has been my guiding force!

My motto!

“Hard work and Commitment to make a positive impact!” That has been my motto since my family moved to this great nation.  Since 1979, I’ve been learning and since 1993 I’ve been teaching. It has always been my goal to mentor children and pass on what I have learned throughout the years to to the next generation.

My timeline

• 1969 Born and raised in Kabul Afghanistan
• 1979 Started Tae Kwon Do under Haidery Tae Kwon Do Club in Kabul
• 1983 Moved to Quetta, Pakistan and Trained with Changezi Kung Fu Club
• 1985 Moved to Karachi Pakistan and Trained with Aero Tae Kwon Do Club
• 1986 Moved to U.S. and trained under Joʼs Tae Kwon Do with Grand Master Si Young Jo
• 1988 Participated in Junior Olympics both forms and sparring in Tampa Fl held at Sun Dome.
• 1989 Started training under Yung Ho Tae Kwon Do, under Grand Master Yung Ho Jun
• 1990 Participated in many local Yung Ho TKD sponsored tournaments.
• 1993 Accomplished 3^rd Dan Black Belt, and started teaching TKD at Universal Academy of Florida.
• 1996 Appointed as the Chief Instructor at Yung Ho Tae Kwon Do.
• 1999 Accomplished 4^th Dan Black Belt. Directed the Yung Ho TKD Demonstration and Tournament Teams.
• 2004 Attained 5^th Dan Black Belt and was officially declared a Certified Master Instructor by Chang Moo Kwan Federation.
• 2005 Appointed as the Director of Yung Ho Tae Kwon Do School
• 2006 President of Habibʼs Yung Ho Martial Arts Inc.
• 2008 Owner of Wesley Chapel Martial Arts Academy LLC
• 2009 Accomplished 6th Dan Black Belt in World Chang Moo Kwan.
• 2013 President of Global Humanitarian Resources, a None for profit entity to provide assistance to those in need.
• 2016 Achieved 7th Dan Black under Chang Moo Kwan Federation.
• 2020 Acquisition of 3000sqft Beautiful facility to my Loyal and new students.
• 2020 CEO and Chairman of Fayiz Foundation Inc- a nonprofit foundation dedicated in loving
• 2024 Achieved 8th Dan Black under Chang Moo Kwan
• memory of Dr. Rahmatullah Fayiz, who came to this great country and accomplished his goal of becoming one of the prominent physicians, but who left this world at the tender age of 48.

Currently, I hold a 8th Dan Black Belt, under the legendary Grandmaster Yung Ho Jun, who is a 9th Dan Black Belt in Kukkiwon and the president of Chang Moo Kwan Federation.  At the age of 88 years old he is still teaching and practicing at his Academy in Tampa Florida.
